Experienced, novice or just interested in learning more? Mitchell F&D Limited offers a range of flexible training programmes to suit everyone - from an introductory to advanced level.
The training on offer - developed out of 25 years of experience - is available in different ways:
- In addition to being based at the Dobunni Farm training centre near Bridgewater in Somerset, from the summer of 2008 cider making courses will also be run from a new purpose-built centre near Hartpury in Gloucestershire. At both venues, courses are offered on a number of occasions throughout the year. Subject to demand or a specific request, the training can also be undertaken in other locations in the UK.
- - Training in a wide range of specialist and advanced topics is also available. Courses can be arranged for individuals or groups according to demand - at a time, length and location appropriate to specific requirements.
- - Primarily based at the Mt. Vernon Research and Extension Unit of Washington State University, but also to be run at The New York State Food Venture Center, Cornell University, Geneva, NY, cider making courses are offered on a number of occasions throughout the year.
