Courses in a wide range of specialised subjects and advanced topics - as listed below - are available for individuals, groups or businesses as required. Training can be organised in a number of ways:

For a single individual or group (normal maximum group size is 12)
- At a date and time convenient to the participant(s) concerned - during the week or at a weekend as appropriate
- At a venue convenient to the participant(s) concerned. This may be provided/organised by the client, or or arranged by Mitchell F&D Limited. In this latter case, any hire costs plus an administration fee will be payable by the client(s) concerned
- A complete course programme may consist of just one of the seminars or a combination of any number of individual modules taken from the list below
- Comprehensive training notes are provided for each participant
- The total unit cost for each seminar module is indicated below. NB. The price shown is for seminar tuition regardless of the number of participants between 1 to 12 individuals (unless stated otherwise). Full information with respect to training costs, including any additional charges if appropriate, is detailed below.
- The subject material listed below can also be studied by distance learning. See separate details.
Costs

The price shown above is for seminar tuition regardless of the number of participants between 1 to 12 individuals (unless stated otherwise). Individuals or small businesses are encouraged to seek out others who may wish to attend a course - thus reducing the cost for each participant. It is suggested that contacts are made through South West of England Cider Makers Association or the Three Counties Cider & Perry Association
- For certain individuals or businesses, grant-aid support may be available. Please enquire.
- In addition to the total tuition fee for each seminar module as indicated above the following additional charges may be applicable:
- Training notes: £7.50 - £25.00 (ex. VAT) per head dependant on overall course programme;
- Provision of venue (see above) and refreshments/meals if required
- Provision of specialist facilities (e.g. laboratory access), equipment and training materials (samples for tasting or analysis) if required
- Tutor travel costs and other expenses (e.g. accommodation if required)
- The total final cost for a complete course programme will be agreed with the client prior to commencement of any training. Discounts will be given in the case of an overall programme consisting of two or more individual seminar modules.
