PROBABLY THE MOST RESPECTED SOURCE OF INFORMATION, TRAINING, ADVICE & SUPPORT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE CIDER AND PERRY INDUSTRY
Cider & Perry Production Courses and COVID-19
In light of the continuing threat of COVID-19, we want to reassure you that we are very carefully monitoring the situation and contingency planning on an ongoing basis in order to take any necessary steps to ensure the health & safety of those enrolled on courses, other clients and our own staff and partners. Obviously, we will also take account of any advice provided by the UK Government and health professionals and implement any restrictions introduced by the authorities.
For each of the current scheduled courses, we aim to make a decision as to whether or not to go ahead with it at least 4 weeks before it is due to start. Prior to this, we will also communicate with all enrolled course delegates as to any contingency plans we are making as to possible course re-scheduling.
In line with our existing Course Booking Terms & Conditions (see booking forms), if we believe it is appropriate to re-schedule a specific course, all existing paid-up delegates will be offered this new date or attendance on another one already scheduled in the future. In this situation, Activity Transfer Fees will not be charged. If you are unable to attend any of the new dates offered to you, then the course fees you have already paid will be fully re-funded, less any bank, card or transfer fees that you may have been previously charged.
In light of unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel a course at the “last-minute”. In this case and as detailed above, you will also be offered a new date or a course fee refund.
Please note that we are not liable with respect to any payments you have made to others, or any other costs incurred, such as for travel or accommodation associated with course attendance. You are therefore advised to contact these ‘Third Parties’ as soon as possible. Also, if you decide against attending the course because you are worried about Coronavirus, but the event is still going ahead, our standard Terms & Conditions will apply.
When running courses, we will be taking all appropriate precautions to ensure the health & safety of all participants. This may include reducing the numbers of participants on a specific course from normal, providing suitable personal protective equipment and hygiene materials and emphasising appropriate hygienic practices. Please do note that the Lead Tutor on all courses is a fully trained and highly experienced microbiologist & scientist!
Wishing you all well and thank you for all your support
